DISSIDENT PATHS: CRUISE 04

Love Made Her Mouth a Weapon; Her Throat Held a Thousand Graves with Lauryn Youden (feat. Dylan Kerr)

2025

As part of Cruise Path within the Dissident Paths program and a performative intervention by Lauryn Youden (feat. Dylan Kerr), Samakkaew engages in live drawing in response to unfolding sound, voice, and collective presence. Working through direct observation, he records vocal gestures, moments of exchange, and the shifting atmospheres generated by the performance. Through sustained attention and drawing, Samakkaew traces the relationships between body, sound, vulnerability, and communal experience, creating visual records of an encounter shaped by grief, care, resistance, and survival. The project is developed in collaboration with ReRouting, Cruising Curators, and nGbK Berlin.
