As part of Cruise Path within the Dissident Paths program, and in spread (after) by sssssssssSsss (Ashkan Sepahvand and Virgil b/g Taylor), Samakkaew engages in live drawing while accompanying a collective walk through Berlin that unfolds between celebration, remembrance, and improvisation. Emerging from the aftermath of a gathering, the performance traces temporary forms of community and belonging through shared movement, conversation, and spontaneous acts of care. Working through direct observation, Samakkaew draws alongside participants as they move through the city. The drawing process attends to fleeting encounters, gestures, and atmospheres, reflecting on how collective memory, friendship, mourning, and desire are negotiated within urban space. The resulting works function as traces of a shared experience that exists only in its duration. The project is developed in collaboration with ReRouting, Cruising Curators, and nGbK Berlin.
